Why TOPCon? The Technology That Defines the Market
TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) represents the most advanced commercially scalable solar cell technology available today. By 2025, TOPCon accounted for approximately 80% of all new solar cell production capacity worldwide – a transition that took less than three years.
How It Works
A thin tunnel oxide layer (1–2 nanometers) combined with a doped polysilicon layer creates exceptional surface passivation. This reduces electron recombination and allows current to flow efficiently, achieving module efficiencies of up to 24.1% in mass production.
